new Daredevil series, Disney+, Charlie Cox

After years of rumours, it seems that the Man Without Fear will return. According to Variety, a new Daredevil series is moving forward at Disney+. Huzzah!

Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to write and executive produce the new Daredevil series, and although there’s no confirmation that Charlie Cox will once again be playing the role, it’s probably a safe bet. The actor reprised the role of Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Vincent D’Onofrio also returned to the role of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, in the Hawkeye series. Since the Netflix series was cancelled almost five years ago, fans have been eagerly awaiting the day that Marvel would bring the characters back. Marvel hasn’t announced anything about the Daredevil series yet and representatives for Marvel Studios didn’t comment, but it would seem that day has arrived.

Corman and Ord are best known for co-creating Covert Affairs, an action-drama series for the USA Network starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham. The series followed Annie Walker (Perabo), a CIA operative fresh out of the farm and her blind handler, Auggie (Gorham).

More to come…
